Why am I not allowed to answer more questions today? I have only answered 7 questions today and am at level 7.?

Y!A is full of glitches today

1) Screens coming up saying the question/profile has been suspended and if you refresh it hasn't

2) Incorrect quota's for question/answer allowances

3) etc

The latest one I got was

"Sorry, something has gone wrong (500).

We couldn't give you the page you requested just now. Please try again."

500 is a server error meaning that the site as a whole has a problem with one of more servers. It's always had these problems over the years and they usually clear in a couple of days.

I've had the same issue when I came to answering another question http://imgur.com/T4Xjtcy but waiting for 5 mins, refreshing and now it works so keep trying is probably the best advice at this time.

I'm a Level 7 too and I was getting that response after answering only three questions today. Anyway, I turned off my computer and later when I came back I found I could answer questions again. It's just another in a long line of glitches, I suppose.

Another one today is that when I try to look at a question I've previously answered, I've been getting a message that the question is under review. It takes two or three tries to open up some questions because of that.

I think there is a problem with the system. When it says you can't answer, just refresh the browser page and it usually fixes the problem. I have been having the same issue and I am also a level 7.

Why are you surprised? Answers is full of bugs and glitches. This is one of them. This isn't the first time and won't be the last time.

It is a glitch.Exit the browser and renter,and you should be able to ask a question.
