Question for people who've got children?
Apparently you don't know what love is until you've held & saw your child for the first time
Would you agree?
I'm not saying I believe it i'm just asking for opinions

The love that a mother experiences for her child, especially when she holds that child for the first time, can not be compared to anything else. It is special and unique. I have two children myself and I can attest to that fact. However, ususally the woman has experieced "real" love before this with family, possibly friends, and husband or boyfriend. You can love different people differently, but it is still love.

Don't listen to these dumb bi***** who say, and actually believe, that "divine" love can only be felt by a mother. I'm a proud father and can say there is no love like that of a PARENT for a child.

I do not have kids, but my guess is that it is true in terms of how one loves their own child. However, it is still possible to love in general before having a child.
I know what it feels like to love, but I cannot imagine how it feels to love your own child, since I have never had a child. However, I love my family, my friends, and my boyfriend. I love them in different ways, but it is still love, and I doubt my love for them will change when I have children.
I look forward to feeling what it feels like to love your own child. I think I will wait a decade for that, though :)

Yes it is true and a different type of love from that of a partner/husband/wife.
