If someone shares a Google drive folder with me under the wrong email address, can I upload to it using my real email?
I had accidentally logged in on someone else's account who gave me access for a completely different reason.
Yeah, I thought it would probably be confusing. I have a gmail account, we'll call it Goddess@gmail. Someone called Amy also has a gmail account, we'll call it Amy@gmail. Amy wanted me to have access to her calendar so she gave me the password to Amy@gmail. BUT she also (or used to) use the Amy@gmail account for Google drive, so I ended up having access to that.
I didn't realize that I had access to Amy's google drive, or that for whatever reason I was signed in as her a couple weeks ago when
I shared a file on Google drive with someone called Jen. Jen has no connection to Amy and even way less than me reason to have any access to Amy's stuff. Also it's just weird that it looks like I got Amy to do my work. (If you can tell me how to fix that, please do, but that isn't even the question.)
The problem is that, unless I'm misunderstanding something, Jen has now created a shared folder that Amy can access (and that I can access when I'm logged in as Amy). I don't want that, for lots
of reasons, including that Amy has probably given her password out to a few dozen other people. But can I use that folder as Goddess, and delete Amy's access? Or should I just set up a new folder?
