What is the more impressive KO, Golovkin-Geale or Donaire-Montiel?
Fans watching and the media covering the event were gushing over Golovkin's KO of Geale recently. If memory serves, Donaire knocked out Montiel precisely with a counter after the Mexican had momentarily landed with his own punch. I think Donaire's KO of the highly-touted and KO artist himself Montiel is the more impressive and gruesome with Montiel's feet even twitching!

Easily Donaire's, it's not even a question IMO.
GGG's KO was academic, he dropped Geale and Geale had nothing left.
Donaire on the other hand smashed Montiel w/ a beautiful hook and left him seizing up on the ground. The only thing that kept Donaire's KO from being the KOTY that year was the fact that Montiel somehow got up.
GGG's knockout of Geale deserves no KOTY consideration or anything close to it.

Montiel scored another impressive 94 seconds KO this time in a featherweight fight on the day of GGG-Geale. Has Geale kayoed anybody as impressively as Montiel who has also previously kayoed Japanese bantamweight legend Hozumi Hasegawa with n uppercut? All the more makes Nonito's KO of him very impressive!

Donaire's KO left Montiel squirming on the ground like a kid having a tantrum. Donaire's KO was far more impressive.

That's boxing your as great as your last fight. Nonito was thought as such a great power puncher and now he never is even brought up.
