If stagflation is caused by a mature economy why does the government so desperately protect mature poorly run corporations from failure?

Because the government is bought and paid for. If anyone seriously thinks for one second that your government wants to help the general population you are deluded.The only way is too take your government back but the general public is losing it's intelligence and resolve. All they want is to wait for the next hand out to appease them for awhile longer.
