If I am not able to press the button to change my car from kilometers to miles again then what can be the problem. It changed by itself.?
Update:
The car is a 1990 Lincoln Mark VII the digital display was fine then it switched to kilometers/liters etc and I cannot change it back

Thanks Ben but that did not work will have to be looked at I guess

Try disconnecting the negative battery terminal, wait 5-10 minutes, reconnect, then re-attempt your switchover. If that doesn't help, i suspect an issue with the instrument cluster or button interface that you are pressing
