Wanting a better camera- What kind? Help please?

I love photography, and taking pictures but there's one problem: my current camera.I usually use my phone or take pictures and stuff, and haven't picked up my camera in about 4 months. The pictures are always blurry and are just horrible. I hate it, and want to upgrade. I have 3 problems: what kind, price and where i can find it. I cant afford anything over $20, but if you have a recommendation, please let me know. Thanks

What kind do you have now? Cameras cost more than 20 dollars, unless you want to explore the amazing world of Holga, which is beautiful but it's film.

If you sell your current camera you'll have a bit more than 20 to spend. Then focus not on what camera but how you take the photos. There is a great book called Exposure, that details how to use a DSLR but has great photography tips anyhow.

Online will give you best cost. What kind, I love a good film camera but a digital sounds like what you're looking for. It's all about taste. Then you decide which one. It could be helpful to go in store to be able to hold and try out the cameras, then buy online for cheaper costs.

But your problems with blurry and so on, could be a number of things. Unclean lens, too quick movement (get a tripod), etc. You could have a 2,000 dollar camera and still take blurry horrible pictures, it sometimes has something to do with how you're doing it. So try doing research or taking a class on photography to further hone your skills and take better pics with any camera.

I would be willing to bet that your dissatisfaction with your current camera is a result of you just not understanding how to use it. To be sure, what kind of camera do you have that's giving you horrible and blurry pictures?
