Will doctors perform euthanasia on people with terminal illnesses in the US?

I want to know if some drs do or will. If so, where? Does anyone know a dr? How do I find one of these drs?

I understand people may have strong opinions on this subject. I do not mean to offend anyone. I am hoping I am in a section where people will understand my desire to know the answer to this. I've googled it on my own and am having trouble coming up with much.

If I go to another country, can I speak with someone? Or will they only do this for citizens of that country?

I don't normally use Wikipedia as a source of information, but I have zero interest in researching this topic, so I just grabbed the Wiki site for you.

Needless to say, in my case, I have way too much to live for than to consider euthanasia in the face of a terminal illness. When my last days come, I trust that I'll die, one way or another, in my own timing.
