What are your thoughts on Curt Schilling's Hall of Fame case?

Update:

Just curious, I myself find it a bit baffling that there is even a debate going on, and that some say without the postseason success, he doesn't get in. He's one of a few pitchers with 3,000 K's and less than 1,000 walks

Update 2:

The postseason success isn't being knocked in any way. It's undeniably one of the things that made his career great. But it would seem like he would be a Hall of Famer even if he were to never pitch in the postseason. If you haven't already, take a look at his regular season #'s

Look at his stats on baseball-reference.com. For several years he led baseball in several categories and they are spread out throughout his career. They did not all happen in only a few years of his career like other players who never made it to the Hall. He also has 3,000 strike outs and every pitcher who has achieved at least 3,000 strike outs in their career has gone into the Hall of Fame. And then you also have to factor in what he accomplished in the playoffs and post-season. It may take a few more years but if Schilling doesn't get into the Hall someday it will be a travesty of justice.

Post season success? Does the bloody sock episode during the 2004 playoffs not count as post season success? He won a WS with Arizona and Boston. He was signed by Boston specifically to win a World Series, which was successful.

He will make the Hall of Fame but later rather than sooner.
