because when you click on the page, it's the same as refreshing it each time and refreshing takes you to the top, showing the most recently posted questions at the top
to avoid losing your spot in the continuous scroll, open the question link in a separate window
you can do this two ways - click on the mouse wheel and that automatically opens any link in a new tab or right click and choose Open link in new tab
when you're done, close the tab for that Q and you will be right back to where you were in the scroll

The list is dynamic. That's why it returns to the top. If you want to read a post open it in a new tab, and when you're done close it. you'll still be at the same place on the original page.

The list is dynamic and changes when redisplayed. The way around an update is to use a center click on questions. It then opens in a new tab or window. After answering it you close the tab or window and you are where you left off.

Because, as you said, you are returning to the list which sends you to the beginning. If you want to see the next question in line, click "next" instead.
