Get the 3ds XL. I have the 3ds but the screen is kind of tiny and is hard to see. And buy it because is gonna have lots of new game coming out. I don't know much about the games but don't buy Pokemon X and Y because there is gonna be a new Pokemon game coming out in a few months.

GET IT! I'm telling you it's worth it! There are so many games out there! 3DS has a big library of video games! Pokemon X and Y, Fire Emblem Awakening, Mario Kart 7, and Tomodachi Life are what I'll recomend. Also, I think you should get a 2DS or 3DS Xl. Trust me, the regular 3DS is crap compare to the others. Hope you'll get it soon! ^-^

Yes, The 3ds can play 3ds games and ds game's. also its in 3d.

Well i have a 3DS and i wouldn't recommend it if you like games such as GTA,Call Of Duty,Madden, NBA 2K** And other action games like those The 3ds does not carry any of those whatsoever. 3ds games are mostly pokemon, lego, and other puzzle games and such. So if your a teenager who likes games like those then i wouldnt reccomend it.

A 3DS can play all of the DS games, but a 2DS is cheaper
