First time in court, can I say this?

Get 2 " stop sign" tickets in 3 min period. its $472, the police said He follow me, I dint make FULL STOP in 2 stop signs.

It was midnight, a car pushed me, so I only made brief stop, not 3 second stop.

I want to fight the tickets, can I say in court:

1. The police car pushed me.

2. Nobody make 3 second stop unless cross traffic or pedestrian.

3. other suggestion?

Ah, yes, the old "the police car pushed me through the stop sign" defense. Reminds me of British comedian Spike Milligan who was accused of crossing the stop line at an intersection. His defense was that a policeman sprang out in front of him and suddenly painted the line!

What? You went through the stop sign because the police car pushed you? Really? I highly recommend that you avoid that defense.

If the law where you live is a three-second stop, it doesn't matter that "nobody make stop," it's still the law.
