Try Bandicam - it's a really good screen recorder and it works with Minecraft!

First off, turn off caps lock. You don't need to shout.

    Now as for your questions/concerns.

    1. Yea and no. Those buildings are sometimes built by hand, though often times people use a world editor and some pre-made buildings/structures converted into schematics for other things that are tiresome to build, like elevators and massive castles, though you can build those all by hand if you so choose.

    2. Yes. You can start the game as a creative mode, just enable cheats during world generation so you can switch it to survival when finished. As to remove cheat mode, just get a world editor and disable it in the world settings, alternatively you can run creative mode with cheats turned off, and then just convert it to survival in the world editor. IMO just turn cheats on, as it also lets you use the /time command to keep daytime light to help with building.

    3. Lots of players are mainly into minigames like Hunger Games or other things. Though just running something like survival is good enough.

    4. If you're using local hosting (as in running it off your own computer) you'll need to give them your IP to let them connect to. If you're using something like a hosting tool/program like a numberless IP tool, you just need to give them the server's connection info.

    5. Depending on the mod, people could care less. Common mods for survival would be things like chest and home protection, animal and farm protection, and some others. Depending on the server also, you could include mods that allow for vehicles to be created or alternative weapons/fuels/tools.

    6. Typically, all those programs work, its a high chance you've either done something wrong while configuring the recording tool or something else. I personally use Open Broadcasting Software, which is a free, yet fully loaded program for some recording. YouTube has some pretty decent guides on how to set it up. If you plan on doing live streams, Minecraft already has Twitch Support built into the client, though if you wanted a face cam you'll need to use something like Fraps or OBS or xSplit for that.

    7. What does this have to do with what's wrong? Minecraft can run on practically any computer as long as its processor and graphics card drivers are up to date. It might not run smoothly but it can run on even computers running Windows 98/2000. If you're wondering if your laptop can handle people on the server, you'll have to find that out yourself, since it not only matters the computer specs but also your internet speed as well for connectivity issues.
