Would a Nebraska loss to McNeese State been an upset similar to the 2007 Appalachian State-Michigan upset?

    If it was the Nebraska of the late 90s with Tom Osborne, definitely. When Michigan got upset they were ranked #5 and those were their years of 'Rose Bowl or disappointment'.

    Michigan was #5 in the country so no. It wouldn't even be as big as James Madison over Va Tech in 2011

    no because nebraska didn't have any preseason expectations to win the conference or a national championship
