What is your opinion of Yahoo! News calling ISIS/ISIL only by the name "Islamic State" or IS?

Once an entity's self-described moniker is reflected back by external sources, it is a means of reaffirmation. This being especially true when it's by the hands of so-called neutral main stream press sources. The legitimacy of this reckless and rogue rag-tag group needs to be challenged, not reaffirmed.

The world should call them as WE see them, not as they see themselves.

Why not? That is how they call themselves now. They changed their name twice.
