JWs, are you all like this Witness who threatened me?
I told him I am atheist and he started screaming at me that God was going to strike me dead.

the fact ! that you are not dead proves that this man is delusional, first truth. the fact that i also had similar experiences, proves that such people are false teachers. this person is truly a false teacher, no doubt, show him my message to you, if you can, to say likewise.

I have a feeling you are stretching the truth a lot. We would not scream at you in the first place and we'd never say God will strike you dead.

Well, as you may be aware, there are nearly 8 Million Jehovah's Witnesses worldwide. I would think it a realistic expectation that there would be the odd individual who might be unhinged. Are there not unhinged catholics, protestants, etc. and, yes, atheists.? Why single only Jehovah's Witnesses out to be judged as a group over the actions of an unhinged few...very few.

And then you woke up...
Seriously, Jehovah's people are not perfect but they certainly do not behave in that way.
I have regular interesting discussions with atheists (though some at their own admittance are agnostic, which is nice) and I have never had cause to get in the slightest bit angry. What's the point in that? Generally, my brothers & sisters are the same.

Not all, but I've been yelled at a guy before. I could tell he was getting mad at me, i just wanted him to leave. I have a group that will not stop coming to my house. I told them one more visit and I'm going to the cops, the last time they paid me a visit. Find where they worship, go there and sell them your beliefs. Show them how rude it is. I think they need a new way to go about things. It's generally considered harassing if you tell people you aren't interested, please don't come back, and they continue to pester. I used to have a big scary dog and they left me alone for a while back then.

Wow, that is strange. Usually when JWs learn that I am an atheist they are desperate to run away.
Generally they have been told not to talk to atheists. I can only assume that the church leaders are afraid of their door-knockers becoming atheists.

You sound like a troll. JWs do not do that.
I think it is interesting how people come to questions like this and say: "Wow! That is terrible." Why do they believe every tale woven on the internet? They should read Proverbs 14:15.

people are individuals until they join an organization, then suddenly, inexplicably, they are all the same?
really? that's what you're going with?
