Is anyone concerned that we may be headed towards a nuclear war?

yes, we could very be headed towards a nuclear war, and if it happens it'll be between the us and Russia. and the u.s i'd say is to blame, not Russia.

the u.s can never keep out of anyones business and all of these sanctions against Russia is hurting them, and its pissing them off immensely. tensions are very high. one can only hope our leaders will sit down and just leave each other alone. but idk. the American government is just about as evil.

No - we're not headed for a nuclear war. I can see a nuclear terrorist attack- like a dirty bomb. That's where you get some sort of nuclear material and wrap it around a few sticks of dynamite.

But nuclear weapons are not easy to set off - and they have to be maintained all the time. That means that they very probably stay in the hands of governments at least - and governments often have enough brains not to bring on the end of the world.

It's religious morons who feel the need to bring on the end of the world. They're the dangerous ones. But they're not the ones who would have nuclear weapons.

Actually I am concerned about that possibility, but not for some years to come.

I am also concerned about germ warfare, as the weaponization of pathogens is already a pretty advanced science.

One way or another, we are heading for a cataclysmic war in the not-too- distant future [maybe 10 years, but you never know]. I can only hope that even the bad guys will use some restraint, or the war will have no winners.

Still, I also hope and expect that humanity will get through it and learn from it.

yes, with the current US-Russia-Ukraine crisis and Russia moving nuclear war ships in the north pole is very real. Russia also now trying to invade other european countries - Putin needs to get a life. Currently there is a stand-off between US and Russia.

They might bomb western Asia to stop terrorists. Nuclear war is not the end of the world it's just the destruction of whatever city gets bombed.

If we keep selling weapons to adversarial groups, if they have nuclear weapons, anything can happen. The only country that has some nukes is Pakistan, where many terrorists live. North Korea has nukes but they dont want to attack the U.S. They claim they are testing them, like the U.S. used to do in the 1950s.
