For the majority of us our hope is not heavenly, but earthly. Jesus said the meek will inherit the earth. The psalmist David wrote this under inspiration:

    Psalms 37:9-11

For evil men will be done away with, But those hoping in Jehovah will possess the earth. Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, And they will not be there. But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

The apostle John wrote under inspiration:

    Revelation 21:4

"And he ( God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

This is only a fraction of the wonderful promises that the " great crowd" of "other sheep" look forward to.

You can find all our beliefs on our website jw.org FAQs, videos, books, magazines - all there for you to peruse

But, for your information now, long before I even spoke to a JW, I could not see the reason for God to create a fantastic earth for us, place our first ancestors in a paradise garden and tell them to make the world a paradise and fill it with offspring and then kill us off.

It was the wonderful logic that JWs showed me in the Bible that at last made sense. We were meant to live forever on a paradise earth. The Bible tells us that was Jehovah's original purpose and if they had not rebelled Adam and Eve would be living here still. We werent made to live a short grief stricken, pain ridden life and then be ushered upstairs. No, we were meant to live on this wonderful home created for us forever. And thats where I want to be.

I am not one of the 144,000 and if I am deemed good enough, by Jehovah, I will live here right on this very earth and experience all that one who is perfect, will experience, just as Jehovah created us for! No more growing old and dying; no more sickness etc etc.

The anointed ie those of the 144,000 are to be kings and priests and will govern us on earth. So you see, what everyone prays for, will come to fruition and contrary to what is said: the government is not in our hearts, but a very real one, that is in heaven!

If you die before Armageddon, you will be resurrected back to life on planet Earth and you will have 1,000 years in which to earn the right to be declared righteous and then, if you pass the final test, live forever on a paradise earth.

If Armageddon comes before you die, you will have to go through the Great Tribulation and the persecution that will come from Babylon the Great - the world of false religion - who will turn on Jehovah's Witnesses in an attempt to destroy them. Then you will have 1,000 years in which to earn the right to be declared righteous and then, if you pass the final test, live forever on a paradise earth.

The good thing about dying before Armageddon is they think that automatically qualifies everybod to be resurrected - the righteous and the unrighteous. But everybody who fails the final test (after the 1,000 years) will die (again) and they will be annihilated.

The one thing they say you don't need is to be born again and indwelt by the Holy Spirit. That's in spite of what Jesus said to Nicodemus in John 3:3, that unless a person is born again he won't even see the kingdom of God, let alone be part of it (whether you think that kingdom is in heaven or on earth). All I can say is that any person who is not born again won't be part of God's kingdom anywhere.

If you aren't one of the 144.000 we will be living on earth but not under the conditions we live today. It will be paradise earth and all the wicked people will be removed from the earth.

Doesn't matter if they think they are part of the 144k or not. They will all face the same fate regardless.
