I have a foster kitten that is about 3 to 4 weeks of age. I stimulate the pee, but should I have to??

I fostered a kitten about that age a few years ago, and had to stimulate her to pee, l asked my vet and she said it is not uncommon for a kitten that age who was seperated from the mama cat, it only took a few days and she started going on her own, my kitten was a little bit older, a week or so...you may have to continue for a little bit longer, good luck....
