My firefox keeps getting ad popups?
This started about a month ago and happened three times since. My firefox would start getting ads saying like ads by DeallSter or something like that. Or when I go to a website it would redirect me to some spam site. I haven't been downloading anything for this stuff to install on my computer. I know how to get rid of it but I want to keep it from randomly coming back. Does anyone know how to do this? I've scanned my computer a few times and I have no virus.

Some websites have ads embedded into the website itself, so they will appear every time you visit a website.
The extension "adblock plus" will block almost all of these ads. I've used it for years, and have hardly ever seen an ad since:

Such kind of adware programs can get into your computer by attaching their installer to free games, free software and free video players. So you don't know when it's installed in your computer. To get rid of them, you can follow this pop-up ads removal instruction.

you might have adware that got installed by a "PUP"
run adwcleaner and junkware removal tool .. you can get them here
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/windows/s...
and then do additional cleanup with MBAM
then go check your browsers for any "bad" extensions.. remove if possible.. if none are seen, and you still have adware in your browsers, then you'll need to reset your browsers.. (google on how to reset them)..
after it's cleaned out... install just one popup blocker, adblock plus and another addon called noscript
