Will Pacquiao's and Arum's Tax Woes in the USA and the Philippines Drive Them to Desperation?
To land the so-called richest boxing fight in history versus Floyd Mayweather? If so, will they be now amenable to let Floyd promote it and dictate most of the terms and conditions, including the OSDT, the purse as well as revenue split, the type of gloves etc...?

I doubt if Bob Arum really care on the tax woes of Manny Pacquiao. It is more on a business relationship and once Manny retires and out of TR, he can have all of his problem by himself. Right now Bob was showing concerns because Pacquiao was still making him money and his cash cow. I sense this when Manny loss to Bradley that Bob showed support to Timothy but change because of the outcry of Manny's fans demanding investigation.
They agree to all of the demand of Floyd Mayweather Jr. but I don't know if it includes the gloves. I am pretty sure about the blood test but VADA and not USADA. The purse or revenue split is negotiable But I doubt if Manny will agree to Floyd's choice of gloves. Manny Pacquiao is NOT Marcos Maidana. Remember when he fought Morales when they complain on the choice of gloves by Murad?
Teodor, you knew very well how things works in the Philippines. Pacquiao belong to the umbrella of the opposition who were having all kind of political attacks right now. Do you believed that these tax problem will still be a problem on the change of administration? You should know better.
I am sure Manny will bend a little and compromise on the terms of Floyd but not all of it even to the point of not fighting him. Do you believed that the last demand of just Showtime handling the fight even though both networks showed willingness to work side by side, that Floyd's company only as the promoter? I don't see any sense of fighting Floyd since it looks like everything will be cook to perfection.

I didn't know that Arum had tax woes as well. I thought its just Pac. If there's pressure on Arum, then that could push for the megafight. If its just pressure on Pac, I doubt its enough to force Arum's hand.

Funny how people make fun of Mayweather for not being able to read allegedly, but he's in this position of self promoting, $$$$$ galore and able to bring, Pac, Arum and others to their knees. They'll opt for anything IMO to get this fight in early 2015. Arum has survived for 50 years in boxing.

Are you now admitting that you've been a dumbazz all along, Teddy?
You've been saying thousand times that Arum is the one holding up the megafight. Now tyou know, right?

you just exposed floyd dumb@$$....
those ridiculous demands are the very reason the megafight is difficult to make, not arum....
plus, wev been hearing floyd reiterating he will never work w/arum, so whos on his knees now if what youre saying happens?

No it will not drive them to desperation
Getting $25,000,000 US for fighting is NOT desperation!
