If Donaire Beats Walters Convincingly, Will he be A Shoo-In For Fighter of the Year Again?

Will you agree to his getting back at Top 5 in the P4P List?

BQ: How about Roman Gonzales?

I've never understood why people dropped Donaire out of their p4p top 10 based on one fight. He was almost universally top 5 before the Rigondeaux fight, then people started dropping him out of their top 10, while saying Rigo was one of the best boxer in the world. How does getting beat by one of the best boxers in the world drop you more than five places after you've been unbeaten for 12 years?

As for fighter of the year, I see it like this. If Hopkins beats Kovalev, then I think he will be fighter of the year. Beating two champions in one year at 50 would be simply amazing.

If not Hopkins then I would pick Terrance Crawford if he beats Beltran before the year is out. Burns (in his back yard) Gamboa, and Beltran, would signal a very good year.

No Canelo deserves it. He fought the number 2 guy in his division who many people kept screaming he was going to get demolished by.

Sadly they will just hand the award to Golovkin for fighting 2nd rate guys/
