Jewish, Christian scholars: The use of the word "time" to denote 360, when was that first recognized?

Or was it so long ago that today we have no idea of when? Can you cite the first evidence that indicates that relationship?

Thanks!

The word Time does NOT denote 360 in Judaism! Time "zman" in Hebrew has a numerical value of 97- the Jewish year is CIS lunar meaning it will be either 360 or 390 days in a year. The number 360 is meaningless in Jduaism, does not denote time

Heh, though interstingly the value of Shas- the abreviation for Shishei Sidrei Mishna or the oral law DOES have the value of 360. Hmm, all those Christians trying to claim that 360 is significant need to find some way to account for the fact that they are then saying the Jewish oral law is significant and why they then ignore it!

I think you've shortened your question past the point of clarity.

Do you mean to ask about when the 360 day year came about?

    This is the lunar year.

Presumably it started into being at whatever time people noted the phases of the moon and how they affected life and agriculture/ animal husbandry.

Well before the point of the ethnogenesis of the Hebrew clan.

The Jewish system is based on a lunar month system within a solar year -- it therefore rounds down to 12 lunar months (360 days) and then balances with a "leap year" of 13 months.

The marking of the Lunar month is considered the first national commandment to Israel at the time that they were leaving Egypt.

The need for the Solar year was directly related -- through the commandment to keep the Passover feast in the month of spirng.

I’m no Hebrew scholar, but I did some research and came up with this information:

The first 10 letters of the Hebrew alphabet are consonants but they also have numerical values of 1 to 10. For example, the number 469 would be represented as 400 + 60 + 9. 469 is the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet and it means “eternity.” 60 represents Satan and 9 represents new life.

360 would be represented as 300 + 60. 300 is the 21st letter of the Hebrew alphabet and literally means teeth, press and sharp. 60 represents Satan.

Numerological significance of 360: The extraction of 14,000 days at the time of Moses, the time of Jesus, uses 360 days per year as a prophetic number; based on a year of 12 months that are exactly 30 days each. Fulfilment of the book of Revelation is based on 360 days per year.

12 relates to time (also in 12 signs of the zodiac) and 360 degrees in a circle. 12x 30 = 360 to come to 14,000 day generation theory. 12 tribes of Israel, 12 Apostles, 12 gates for New Jerusalem. Jesus was 30 when he started his ministry and David was 30 when he began to reign. The word ‘altar’ is used 360 times in the Bible.

As to when the word “time” was first recognised to denote 360, I haven’t the faintest idea!

Edit: In response to Allonyoav's comments, the first link is the source of all the nonsense I found. The other links are on the Jewish view of time, which I found much more interesting.
