Did Jesus ever explicitly say humans are mortal beings? e.g. One day our hearts will cease to pump or we will take a last breath?

If he never said it explicitly, did God ever make this statement or a similar one? i.e.. Life on earth always ends?

Update:

OK if he DID say this, where? Please give the quotation & chapter / verse.

"From dust you were formed, and to dust you shall return." Is that clear enough?

No...but he is specific about how he created us. From dust you were made and to dust you shall return. What happens with most people like with my father is that they take three last breaths and then die.,. God gives us the ability to breathe into our nostrils and we come to life through God.

    Gen 2:16-17

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it: for in the day that you eat of it, YOU SHALL SURELY DIE.

  • From stardust yes & yes again but for some reason the Bible doesn't say that.

    But we are immortal souls.

Millions of people have had near death experiences. Look it up.
