How much energy is required to manufacture a 1 Kilo Watt solar panel?

    Calculating such a thing would be almost impossible. The energy used in mining and refining mineral ores would just be the start. Ending with the transportation costs through to the customer. Now if you just wanted to know what the manufacturing plant used that would be simpler. Good luck. It must be profitable though.
