All of my files are on local disk C, which is only 100gigabytes, but I want it to go to disk d, which is 1 terabyte but can't, help

Usually in windows C drive contains all the system files, that means you cant move them in windows operating system and if you do, the pc wont start again.
the best thing you can do is reinstall your windows on D, which will after installation become C:
then format the drive D: please check if its 100 gigs before formatting.
