Can a tradesman donate his time to a church and get a tax credit?

    Not exactly. Gifts of service are not considered as tax credits, BUT if they pay you a reasonable amount and you donate that amount to them it becomes a tax credit.

    Depends on what the church and what the project is. Normally, no.
