Is it weird/awkward to go to the Sadie's Hawkin's Dance ALONE?

So it's my senior year, no one asked me out, (btw Im a male), but hell, im a senior, and I wanna go to this dance even without a date, (btw sadie's is where the girl asks the guys out, and some people still go without a date)

But, I just realized none of my friends are going, which sucks, and I just heard that literally no seniors are going, besides for maybe a dozen, so now Idk what to do. Because there's only about 200 people going, and I will not know anybody. Because I am going totally alone. So do you think I should still go by myself, or will it just feel weird and awkwards cause I wont know anybody? And besides, what the hell is there to do at this dance if im all by myself, and most people have a date and are not going single? Is it still worth it?
