At least the good guys at home (Royals) made it interesting in the end.?

There's not a true baseball fan out there that wasn't hoping for a bottom of the 9th World Series HR to win it at home.

Wasn't meant to be.

Bumgarner wasn't denied.

Congrats Giants.

As a Giants fan, I'm honestly surprised on how good that series was. Considering the Giants swept Miguel Cabrera and the Tigers back in 2012. That team was better than the Giants at the time and better than the current Royals team... but the Royals made it to game 7 and were in it to win it until the last out. I knew they were going to go to Bumgarner, I just didn't think he would pitch 70 pitches, I don't think anyone saw that coming. But history repeats itself: pitching wins another World Series.

Congrats to the Royals for breaking their drought, I wouldn't have been surprised if they won game 7.

But yeah the Giants are definitely not the "Bad Guys," considering both the Royals and the Giants were the underdogs coming into the playoffs there really weren't any "bad guys" in this series. Both teams barely made it as far as they did. The Giants cliched on the second-to-last day of the season and the Royals won it in the 9th and were 1 out away from losing their chance. There were no bad guys in this World Series.
