Recommend to me good deadbolts? What about "smartkeys" doesn t that just mean a dude can rekey to his key and break into my house?

Update:

The story: I came home on Sunday expecting a day of NFL and relaxing but instead my deadbolt wouldn't work and after losing my temper I broke the key in the lock. So I google locksmiths and find one that says online that they will unlock for $35. He gets there after 2 hours and the cost to pick the lock or drill out is now $165. I am not rich person but I can borrow a drill and get a replacement lock for $35. So I give the guy the 20 bucks and borrow a drill and get in my house.

Update 2:

More to the question. I just don't want to have this happen again. Any help would be great.

My recommendation is a Schlage digital deadbolt. They are one of the most trusted keyless deadbolt setups in the industry. You can use either key or code to enter them. As long as you change the battery once a year they work. And if the battery goes dead, have the key somewhere that you can get to it. Bad news is they cost 120+ dollars.
