Yes of course it's worth it
It's the GRAND CANYON
One warning though
It does snow at Grand Canyon and the surrounding area ; Use 5000' above sea level for your snow line
Sometimes snow and snow clouds will prohibit you from seeing into the Canyon
So check the weather at GCNP zip code 86023 before you leave 'Vegas

The Canyon is pretty amazing. It is a long drive, but the views are worth it, IMO. I would consider an overnight trip though - that's a lot of driving in one day.

If you like nature, then sure its well worth it. Do you like national parks and driving for 5 hours (each way), then yes. If you find nature and beauty boring, then no you won't enjoy it.
