HELP VIRUS DESTROYED MY COMPUTER?

I downloaded a file and I didn't realize there's a virus and just then Kaspersky detected it but it was too late. All of my programs cannot be use, like Internet explorer, everything with .exe. I closed the computer and how can I fix it? It just says "the program was renamed,deleted or move"

    Trend Micro

    Symantec

    Webroot

    or

    McAfee

    You must reinstall your system.Install fresh copy of windows xp or try Linux (ubuntu)
