I am an almost 27-year old virgin. Is that pathetic?

I think people make fun of me behind me back because of it, but then again no one really knows for sure, not even my only family members! My Mom and Dad suspect I am a virgin but they have never asked and I have never told them but for all they know I could have acted on some opportunities I had to lose it when I was younger. I also wonder if maybe my neighbors, associates, and family wonder if I am gay but I have never gave an indicator that I was and I have never been interested in men, only women.

I will lose it someday but right now I am just too depressed and suffering from too many mental problems to even enjoy sex fully or to think about it that much. Until I get over that and my social anxiety problems I will likely remain a virgin.

I've had a pretty tough life. I got bullied a lot as a teenager and some of my own family members have treated me very meanly. I was even homeless at one point but now I live alone in an apartment. I've never used drugs but this led to a lot of depression and anxiety issues that has kept me from socializing with people. Also I am a bit of a hermit and loner. But I know I am probably missing out on something but when the right person comes along and I will lose it then. I Know it's sad but I wouldn't say it was pathetic.

It's not pathetic. Women are attracted to virgins, especially for marriage. If you're a virgin, it can make it more special. In a lot of cases, a woman would rather marry a virgin than a non-virgin.

No! It's wondeful because save it until you did the one I mean would you rather be a slut or man whore ? I don't think so so be proud boy/girl
