Would a WIFI antenna work?

Would a WIFI antenna work with a DESK TOP computer?

NOT a laptop computer, sitting on a desk, but a standard, bulky, desk top computer?

Would a WIFI antenna work with the telephone jack, of a standard computer?

Wifi antennas work by plugging in their coax cable into the wifi adapter. That means any desktop with the right wifi adapter, and a proper wifi antenna, can be connected together.

Wifi antennas cannot work with telephone jacks or Ethernet ports, antennas are "radio devices", and use coaxial cables to transfer RF signals (wifi) to the wifi adapter.
