Can the power steering pressure (psp) sensor be the reason my car stalls and idles funny. or is it tell me something else is wrong?

I have a 2002 Nissan Altima 3.5

Update:

The sensor can't cause anything it only senses things. Now try to explain why you think the PSP has anything to do with the idle.

I dont know, it could. Diagnosing the problem should be first & not just guessing. Does it do it all the time when turning or does it do it when you slow down & come to a stop & it doesnt like to idle?
