News current events...so another American has been beheaded by ISIL, but who cares?

It's the most common Answer I get on Yahoo.....'who cares'...people are murdered, beheaded, raped, tortured, amputated, crucified. They look to the US as a savior, but 'who cares'. Even when ISISL tortures to death one of our own and then 'video's it' we do nothing. Because....,who cares?

Of course people care. BUT The media is anxious to show how the current administration is SO GREAT that they do everything in their power TO KEEP THIS TYPE OF NEWS OUT of the public realm of awareness.

    Inshort, What new beheading?

And if this was true, WHY DIDNT YOU INCLUDE A LINK? Just saying there was one does not make it so.

Oh you're American? I didn't know. Erm yeah "who cares" isn't a nice or appropriate comment about an innocent person's murder.

I haven't seen any news at all today but I share your pain. We too have lost innocent men to IS, men who went there to help the stricken.

What was your guy doing there? The same? Sorry, I don't know too much about him as I haven't seen even 60 seconds of news today yet

News. Another innocent person on the planet is killed by an US drone because he, or she, is "suspect" of being a terrorist. Who cares? More American bombs have killed millions of people than criminals have killed anyone from anywhere. Why are we involved in Middle East politics? Not our problem yet, there we are. I have news for you. Only people who mess into the business of others have issues.

Or as Madeline Albright said when asked about the deaths of 500,000 Iraqi children from the deliberate attacks on water and sanitation facilities that was for the most part a brutal kind of genocide directed at the future generation of an indigenous people - "I think it was important"

In other words, a top diplomat (she was the then former Secretary of State) - "Who cares"

Governments are frightened of mindless, fanatical barbarity, the only way to stop it,is to kill the fanatics,,,which in turn creates more fanatics.

They cannot talk the Enemy down, they need to out-last him.

It is most unwise to imagine that lack of apparent action means that no action is taking place.

Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God.

Who cares......I imagine his mum and dad, wife girlfriend sisters and brothers. His comrades, fellow humans and anyone with an ounce of compassion.

When this comes to a street near you, which it will, you will then care.
