Do you believe the WBC will just stand idly by when the Floyd-Pacman Biggest Fight Gets Made?
I think the WBC will dip its dirty fingers in a bid to take its piece of the action and share of the income pie. It will assert its right to sanction the fight since Floyd is their champion in the welter and junior middle. By sanctioning the fight and mandating that it be for both of Floyd's titlesd at 147 and 154, it can spoil the negotiations with the threat of stripping Floyd of his titles if it is not included in the deal. Floyd would not like that since he believes his WBC titles make him marketable. Without those titles, he is nothing and Floyd does not fight for nothing.
WBC could ruin that fight with its intrusion, you know.
What do you think?

These boxing governing bodies only want their sanction fees, meaning bribes to hold fights. I am sure they want a piece of the action, and most likely will get involved.

Whoever wins, WBC wins since if Floyd wins, he remains their champion and the WBC can claim that theirs is the true champion and if Manny wins, he will be back again under the WBC fold after years of being a maverick fighting under WBO. WBC has been itching to get Manny---and Arum---back to its sphere because their activity means more sanction fees, more moolah for the WBC.

No they won't. The most they'll do is make a belt for the winner like "WBC Champion of the century" since the fight is indeed the fight of the century. WBC has never ruined negotiations.

You have a good fkng point, Teddy. But at the end of the day, it's Floyd who's deciding. He could throw away his belts just not to fight Pac. I could still remember him saying, " A belt doesn't make Floyd Mayweather. He (Pacquiao) can take belt".

First, there is no North American venue that can outbid Macau for this fight. And at that point, it all comes down to an equal payday for both fighters (probably starting at $100 million each) and then if a new strap has to be created by someone to make a go -- that will be done.
