Have you seen Pacquiao's physique lately? It's far cry from the solid, bulkier Pacquiao we've seen in 2008-2011.?
He seems back to his old slimmer side, the one we've seen back in 2004-2007. What happened? Why is he losing weight at the time when he is maturing and growing physically?
Does the change in strength/conditioning coach has something to do with this?
Why don't you just answer the question/s? It is you who are making up things. This is a valid question given the fact that he is chasing after Floyd for a fight. What if Floyd demanded that the fight be held at 154 lbs? Does this slimming down to 140 still makes sense to you given that high possibility?
Does the change in physical conditioning/strengthening coach from Ariza to his current coach has something to do with this? Please answer the question/s!

Nobody will say it, I will. He was on steroids back then. Period. Like I've said before, I don't even care.
Actually, 35-40 years old your bones are the most dense. The best bodybuilders in the world are that age. Most strongmen competitors are that age, too. So, to think he's losing muscle cause he's 36 is ridiculous. I have more muscle now that when I was 26, ten years ago. If you notice Mayweather, he carries the Welterweight size better now that he's older. His body has matured. You actually get bigger as you age.

You have to think that Pac now is also a professional basketball player. It has everything to do with that.
EDIT: While other people compare boxing opponents by height, punching power experience, biceps, chests, thighs and neck, they forget where great fighters generate the ability to throw a punch and take a punch.
The research that was done on the size of a fighter's wrist can explain why a terrific speed puncher like Pacquiao has been successful lately.
Since the wrists are related to the skeletal frame, bigger wrists equal bigger bones, and that's why fighters can take a punch better than others.
Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. have big wrists. Mayweather's wrists are measured at seven inches on a 5-foot-8 frame. Pacquiao's wrists are eight inches, and he's 5-6. The Pac Man's wrists are higher than the average boxer in the heavyweight division.
Mike Tyson and Joe Louis had the same size wrists as Pacquiao. The pound-for-pound champ has room in his body to grow, which means Pacquiao can move up or down in weight without losing speed.

Did i answer the question Teddy?

Growing physically? I thought people stopped growing in their late teens to early 20's. Pacquaio is in his late 30's.
It does seem strange however, that a guy who was fighting at light middleweight not so long ago, is talking about being able to get down to 135 for the right fight. I don't see how you can go up and down the weight divisions like that?

Do you have the same physique from ten years ago, Teodor? This is plain common sense. Not all changes on physique is a product of banned substance and I can guess that is where you're going. Floyd changes too. Did you notice it especially when he got release from prison, he was ripped.
What you should do is put this to rest and help the fight happen. Floyd was getting his strength from people like you, reason up to now he got the reason to duck. His belief is, people like you will always be there as his cover from criticism. Now you were trying to resurrect the old issue. You can not help Floyd now. No more way out except if he fake sickness or retire. Showtime might terminate his contract for not fighting Manny if he insist on fighting low standard opponents.

In the Algieri fight he's looked better than he has in a LONG time, closer to the 2008 physique you're talking about.

This is so easy. It's not age, it's not slippage... it's WEIGHT. He was around 140 for the Algieri fight, his much slimmer self. In 2009-2011, he was at 147-150 and fighting huge welterweights, so he was bigger. But that's not his natural weight. What you saw in Algieri, the more "compact" slimmer Pacquiao is where he needs to be at, IMO. Natural weight.

He naturally weighs in the 143-147 area. He's at his natural weight and isn't dropping anything.

Where are you going with that Teddy?
Remember that Pac just bulk up to the super welters and MW to get some competitive fights. Of course he will shrink cutting down his weight.

Boxers r fighters not body builders so who cares? Pacquiao is in fantastic shape. Try n do his ab work alone n ull see the dedication boxers put into the sport.

He is too old to be maturing and growing so any changes in his physique are from diet and exercise.
