Australia Zoo for foreign students?
Hello.
I am planning to go to Australia in March. Australia Zoo is one of the places on my list. I have a few questions here:
1. Do students from foreign universities get student price for admission or does it only apply for students who study in Australia?
2. How long does it take to get there from Gold Coast? I'm planning to rent a car if that's the easiest and fastest way to get there.
3. Is it ok to buy the admission tickets on arrival instead of pre-booking them online? Would the queue be long? Is the place always crowded?
4. I'd be very thankful if anyone could give directions to go there from Gold Coast.

For everything you cannot claim to be a student. Only a subset of Australian students get student price for anything. They have to be FT for one thing and in some instances have to be under a certain age and/ or be getting government assistance. Student cards have an addition to it if they are eligible and that is what will be looked for. So for transport and admittance to cinemas etc you will be paying adult far. Even international students studying here do not always get the student discount.

To get there, use google maps.
Allow 2 hrs driving time from the Gold Coast. Just get on the Bruce Highway and follow the signs.
