In politics isn't a Rhetorical Question also a statement? Doesn't it encourage the questioner to think?
When do you think Obama will be impeached for Benghazi? Was the Question I answered with a Rhetorical Question. Shouldn't political section have its guidelines considered more as guidelines than RULES.
YES in my answer I did say Obama had called Biden a Clown. Obama had said ALL his failed agenda items were assigned to Biden & the people didn't agree.
In my answer I also acknowledged impeachment isn't the same as removal from office.

A question isn't a statement - and vice versa. A rhetorical question is a figure of speech in the form of a question that is asked to make a point, rather than to get an answer. Slapping a question mark at the end of a statement doesn't make it a rhetorical question. And since this site is meant to ask questions that actually seek real, useful knowledge and information, rhetorical questions can be violations if not worded well.
EDIT: Posting a rhetorical question as an answer can be a violation if that is ALL you post. Because it isn't an answer. Any answer, any category, MUST make a sincere effort to provide a useful answer to the question being asked. If the question was "When do you think. . . ?" and you answered with some type of rhetorical question and information about Obama and his failed agenda items, that isn't an answer. You would need to state WHEN, to actually answer the question.
And sorry, there are no special exemptions for Politics - or P&S, R&S, whatever. The "guidelines" are considered RULES, and what doesn't abide by them can be reported - and end up removed. You can appeal, of course.

From what I've seen there is no place to enter a true appeal just a request to take a 2nd look. In a court case/appeal the apposing side speaks.
