do i need to register a car I dont plan to drive for a while?
I'm getting a 1992 Saab 900 it needs quite a bit of work it drives and everything. I have a 9-3 I will drive that regularly so do i need to register a project car (in RI) the car will be in my garage for awhile?

No, but do put the title in your name before you invest money in repairs or you will be fixing a car you don't own.

not sure about RI, but in Calif a vehicle can be registered as non operational, as in needing work before it can be driven, at the motor vehicle dept
