You really can't unsubscribe however you could do this: Click your avatar, delete all your contacts click edit my info, delete the info in your profile including your personal avatar if you had one, set everything to private, uncheck to receive ims or emails, click save don't return to the site.Your questions and answers remain on the site they are the property of Yahoo. it does not affect your email account, it remains active.An alternative,completely close all your Yahoo accounts however your questions and answers on YA will still remain on the site. I'm kind of addicted to yahoo answers but since my computer 💻 has wrecked up ⬆ haven't got that many other options besides watching digital video disc 💿 movies 🎥 and shows and / or television 📺 shows

By closing you entire Yahoo account - email and everything. You either have Yahoo, or you don't have Yahoo - you can't pick and choose which bits you want.

Bear in mind that leaving Yahoo completely will not remove any of your questions or answer from this site.

The Yahoo Answers Account can't be closed without closing your entire Yahoo ID. Even if you do your questions and answers remain. The best you can do is remove the avatar, change the nickname to something else, remove any comments, and block all communication and viewing of your Q&A in the profile.

You will need to close your entire Yahoo account, you can't get away from answers once you have sign up

You don't, because you are not "subscribed". If you don't want to use this site, just don't use it. If you get emails from this site that you don't want to get, just mark them as Spam and ignore them. Simple as that.
