With the NFL regular season over, what surprised you this season?

Some for me; I thought the Cardinals would take a step back, didn't expect the Cowboys to be this good, and One of the Worst jokes aside, I thought the Trestman/Emery combo would work.

Well I'm proud to say I almost perfectly predicted Dallas's record (11-5 was my offseason prediction along with the Divison title) but there is a few things that surprised me alot.

    • The New Orleans Saints were the team I predicted in the off season to make the Super Bowl for the NFC and the fact they didn't even make the playoffs is a huge surprise.

    • The 49ers not making the playoffs after making the Championship game last year.

    • How absolutely horrible the Bears looked. Far too much talent to suck that bad.

    • How well the Cardinals and Texans did despite not having capable QBs throughout the season.

Cowboys had the worst defense of all time last year, now they are the play offs 12-4 winng their division. Murray breaking Smiths single season record. And Bryant breaking Irving's single season TD record. And have the best OL by far in the NFL. By far the most surprising team.

Just for the record I'm a die hard Cowboys fan.

And the saints being so horrible

-The biggest surprise for me was the NFC South having such a bad year[best record being 7-8-1]

-I also don't think anyone saw the Cards having the quarterback injuries

-The Cowboys finally put together the offensive pieces, and turned a defense missing Sean Lee into a 12-4 team

The big surprise for me was the Bears wining 5 games, at the beginning of the season I predicted they'd win 4

That Arizona, despite all the injuries (plus a suspension) before and during the season, still finished 11-5. Other than that, Kansas City going the entire season without a single WR catching a TD pass.

Two things stand out for me:

    - The collapse of New Orleans, especially in home games where they lost their final five games in the Dome and were taken to overtime by Tampa (!) in one of their three wins.

    - Brian Hoyer playing well enough to keep Manziel on the bench and the Browns in the playoff hunt until the twelfth game of the season when Johnny Football finally got to lead the offense in the second half of a blowout loss at Buffalo.

    The Browns winning 7 games.

A team under 500 in the playoffs. Carolina.

Buffalo making a big step up. Cincy being the three seed in the AFC
