Home Electrical issue.?

So I had the Cable guy out to fix my internet. He showed me a fried cable, telling me that there is voltage coming out of my house and that the cable which is grounded to the house burnt up. He resolved the issue buy replacing the part and not grounding it to the house. After this my electricity has been acting weird. My entertainment system shut down and would not turn back on, but would try. (Ex Id turn on the tv then Id turn on the xbox and both would shut off). I have an LED clock on the same outlet that is flickering. My Girlfriend, who was cooking breakfest said the microwave was as if it was on low. Any thoughts?

Update:

Someone suggested to me that I may have a backfeed to the ground. I have a Solar Array so if that's what you mean by backfeed. Also I know, having an older house that many, if not all of my grounds are fake, wired to the Negative or something. I went and disconnected my solar array and tested, everything worked. I turned my solar array back on and it continued to work.

Update 2:

Everything seams to be working fine now. Is it possible that there was just a temporary electrical issue in my area. Again I have a solar array that is supposed to disconnect when the power is down but that system couldn't be perfect.

I still suspect I may have an issue. Awhile ago I hooked up a PC to a certain outlet. When trying to hook up a monitor I would get a spark from the case to the monitor cable. I just didnt use that. I would think that If I still had an issue, this would be related.

Indeed, you need to call an electrician who can figure out what the issue is with the home. It could be a number of things, and they may need to call the electric company, but I don't know.

Oh yeah, you've got a real problem, and no it will not go away.

For sure you've got a grounding issue and possibly a "floating" neutral.

Get a qualified service technician out there Soon!

get a real electrician out to figure out what it is the other guy did and how it needs to be fixed.
