Can you still use aloe vera juice for hair if it has gone rancid.?

I had the juice for months now, maybe 4 or 5 months and it has a bad smell, the color is still the same but i kept it refrigerated the whole time. is it safe to use it for my hair and skin?.

    General rule for life: don't use anything that you would describe as rancid

    Why would you want to put something in your hair or on your skin that smells rancid?
