why number 2 and 4 playing for the bcs championship,and not 3 or 1 playing?

    note its no longer the BCS

    because #2 Oregon soundly beat #3 fsu

    and #4 Ohio ST. beat #1 Alabama

    they will not redo the rankings until after the Championship game

    Well. 1 played 4 and 4 won in the first round of the playoffs, and 2 played 3 and 2 won in the first round of the playoffs. Now in the actual championship game 2 and 4 are playing lol

    In the deciding previous games, 2 beat 3, and 4 beat 1, so just doing the math, 2 and 4 were the winners of the 'playoffs' so they were the last 2 teams standing. That is how the system now works.
