California Community College transfer question?
I want to transfer to a UC from my ccc. At UC, I am going to take the courses required for med school. My question is do I have to apply to UC's under a science major? If I do, I would have to take a lot of science and math courses for major prep at my ccc that would take me longer. Does it matter what major I have at a UC if I want to go to med school? Can I just major in English or Humanities while I still take the required courses for med school?

You can do any major as long as you complete all the PreMed classes. Med schools love a well rounded student.
As long as you aren't avoiding biology as a major because you suck at math and science, it's no problem. Make sure the rest of your application shows your health care interest *and* non health care interests.
Good Luck!
