how do you delete a question on Yahoo A?

It depends on whether or not the question has been answered, if it has been answered, you can't delete it even if a BA hasn't been chosen yet. We used to be able to delete our answered questions, but this option has been removed. What you can do is go to the pencil (or Edit button depending on your format version) icon beside it and choose the "make anonymous" option so at least your username and avatar are removed from it. This is especially useful if your question is embarrassing.

If the question has no answers, go to the pencil (Edit button) icon beside your question and choose the delete option. By the way, if you're on mobile, you need to switch to desktop first. On an aside, the only other way they may be deleted is if they're reported as violations.
