Can bailiffs take a company van that I drive for work????
I owed baliffs money for parking fines a few years back maybe 5 years ago did not have the money to pay them ..now I have a company van that I drive for work I was thinking of applying for a permit to park..... Can thay tow my company van or not van is register to company but permit will be in my name??????.....can anybody help with this?????

They cannot take property that is not yours. Make sure it is registered to the company and you have a letter stating ownership.
The permit is in your name to park at your address.
Sort this out before the fees get too high.

It will depend on what the van is used for. Unless you are a courier most judges will allow a bailiff to take and sell it.
If it is seized you will have to make a claim that it is exempt from seizure into court. To do this is £155 and you will have to pay the value of the van into court pending the outcome.
You are better placed to try and deal with the tickets.

No they cannot as the van is registered to a Company. You do NOT own it. They would not even try to take it as they have to check ownership.
