How to write off donations and school on 1040EZ?

Update:

I donated a lot of items to Goodwill this year, I went to school, I bought clothing items for work and school, and had to take drug tests before I got accepted for school. How do I write all of these items off on my 1040EZ?

I have no dependents, live on my own, not married

You can't. You have to use 1040A to itemize.

Next, you probably don't have enough items to itemize. A single person gets a standard deduction of 6200. To take the deductions you are mentioning, you are not allowed to use the standard deduction. This means you need enough itemized items to be more than $6,200 or it is not worth bothering with. Basically, the items that you gave to good will mean nothing unless you can total enough allowable itemized deductions to be above $6200.

Some of your school expenses, like tuition and books might be allowed and still keep the standard deduction. Use a website like Turbo Tax to enter all your information and it will tell you which deductions you can or can't use to get the best refund possible.

You don't. You can only deduct donations if you itemize - then you'd file 1040, not 1040EZ. For education credits you must file form 1040 or 1040A

the 1040EZ is designed to be the form with the least amount of information to enter

it does not allow for itemized deductions where your contributions would be claimed on Sch A

if you can't itemize greater than your standard deduction the things you mention will do nothing for your taxes

Donations you don't. Those are only deductible if you itemize, which you can't on a 1040EZ and don't anyway unless you have $6000+ in deductions.

You can't. If you use Form 1040-EZ, then you cannot write off those things. To write off those things, you need to use a different form.
